Dearly Unfiltered grew out of a season that reshaped my entire life — losing my mom in September 2025 after her long battle with brain cancer, moving to a small town where everything felt new, and watching both my kids head off to college. In the quiet that followed, I found myself back at the one thing I’ve always done: writing. I’ve journaled for years, and people kept telling me to “do something with it.” So I finally did.
